Help Give a Thanksgiving Dinner!

For most American families, Thanksgiving is a time for gathering around a table full of family, friends, and good food. It is a time for sharing of traditions and making new memories. But in these rough economic times, more and more families are finding that other things take priority over even a basic Thanksgiving meal and they face missing out on their family traditions.

In the past, the Utah Food Bank has been able to collect enough Turkey donations to fill most of the need in Utah. However, donations have been down this year, and the expectation is that many families hoping for help will not be served.

If you are interested in helping another family this Thanksgiving, please take donations directly to the Utah Food Bank, 3150 South 900 West, or call 2-1-1 for other opportunities.
